Celebrating a freedom that should never be taken for granted.

We canceled our trip with a big group of friends down to San Diego in an effort to sock away a few more bucks for our up coming Hawaii trip. We still had an amazing weekend here at home with friends and family. I thank all of you who extended invites to us to bbq and hang out. I wish we could have accepted them all. We always feel so blessed to have a great group of friends.

I always tell Gavin that in addition to being Hispanic, French, Danish, Sweedish and Indian that I’m quite sure he is also part billy goat (on his father’s side of course). He said “don’t forget part pilgrim. Yaaaaa, that too.

So gooney, I just love them..

We also watched lots of great movies, made a huge mess of nachos and spent a great family day at the park…again.

Life really is that good. We thank God for all of the blessings in our lives.
