USS Iowa

It was great to hang out with my cousins and see a bit of history. The Iowa just came to San Pedro a few weeks ago. They still have quite a bit of work to do on it but it was still really impressive. Even the kids loved it. To top is all off, it was my sweetie's birthday. Afterwards, we had lunch at the San Pedro Fish Market and Restaurant. It was soooooo good. Here is a sample of our day.

 The perfect day to hang with the fam. I think we’ll go back after they’ve completed more of the renovations. 

We ended the day at the fish market where the boys proceeded to eat almost  trays of shrimp.

The stats don't lie..... smoking kills.  The boys the the french fry in the mouth was a nice touch.

Mommy Trip 2012

At least once a year I like to round up some friends or family, or in this case both for a mommy trip to the beach with our kids. This year’s trip was made up of two of my sister-in-laws and my good friend Colleen. Let the good times roll. ;-) 

 My friend Colleen was brave enough to pick up this huge moth that was hanging out in a tree on our campsite.
