No rain falling....Sunshine calling..Breathe deep my weary soul

Last weekend’s weather completely lured us to the outdoors with its promises of tweeting birds and clumsy butterflies. It didn’t disappoint. We grabbed the girls and one of Gavin’s bestest friends and headed out to take in some much needed fresh air.

I can’t wait to take the pups camping at the beach. Ginger loves sunsets as much as we do.

Hard to believe Jonah is SIXTEEN years old. Although we haven't seen him since he was a baby, we've always held him close to our hearts.

Hope to see you next time you're in Cali little cousin. Or maybe the Varg's will have to make a trip to Utah???

I am so blessed to have photographed so many adorable faces. There are simply too many to post, but here are a few of my favorite over the past couple of years.

A word or two..

Looking back over 2010, so many wonderful things happened. So many sweet and dear memories were made, and yet, there are some dark shadows. Matters of the heart. In the end we will all wish we'd made more time for those we treasure. We'll all wish we'd made amends with those we've felt slighted by or were offended by.

Eventually, I'll get around to typing up our resolutions but today....today I just have a thought (or maybe a challenge) to share.


Another year has come and gone
As quickly as night falls to dawn
I'm Looking back with wiser eyes
On lessons learned and stronger ties
I'm choosing love, that's really living
I'm letting go, and just forgiving
We've all been fools in word or deed
a shorter memory is what we need
So let's reach out this coming year
and those we've distanced, draw them near
Jesus forgave me, all my debts
I long to meet Him with no regrets
I'm going to practice "love is Blind"
not leave one kiss or hug behind
I'll work on saying "I was wrong"
and not hold grudges quite so long
Before I judge an imperfection
I'll just think back on my own reflection
Time travels fast, it will never stroll
It's time to give God back control
The love we share is a precious thing
So let's hug and kiss & let the new year ring.
