This photo was taken on Valentines Day 2014.  Two cute kids in love.  Fast forward 5 years. They are married and expecting one very sweet little Tatum Rose.  I had the privilege of attending Robyn's baby shower and as always with the Goshen events, it was FABULOUS!

Classic Rock Live Series

One of our favorite things to do each year is to attend the Classic Rock series at the La Mirada  Preforming Arts Theater.  This year the studio musicians did Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers, Damn the Torpedoes.  First, dinner and then the show with our good friends Ray and Cynthia Rounds.

 
They were almost as awesome as the company!  xoxo

Semi Family Beach Trip March 2019

Well, most of the family was able to make it to the beach in March. The Gallardos couldn't be there and only Kelsie was there to represent the other part of the Vargas clan but all and all, we had a great time!  Long time friends the McKennies and Dave and Brenda Martin along with the McKennies daughter Jenny came by for a short visit though I didn't get any pictures of them.

Lili Comes to Cali!

Gavin and his girlfriend have been carrying on a long distance romance for over a year.  They've known each other for almost four years but didn't become interested in each other until about a year ago.  The fact that she is in Illinois hasn't deterred them one bit. So imagine how excited we were when she and her family decided to vacation here over spring break.  We met them at the beautiful "The Deck" restaurant in Laguna beach for dinner.

It was an emotional  reunion to say the least.  These two have been dreaming of this day for a few years.

For Kevin and I, it was fun to see but also a pleasure to meet her family.  Such nice and genuine people.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of her dad, who happens to be named Kevin and also loves guitars and classic rock. 😀

After dinner we took a walk through town and took them to our favorite gelato place for dessert

The line is NO JOKE!  This place is amazing.

I hope they can visit again soon.
