Day TWO....Kevin's Birthday

While the birthday boy and Jan were golfing, the rest of us went on an excursion to Downtown Kona.

And you can’t visit Ali’i Street without having shave ice.









That night, we celebrated my big kahuna’s birthday at world famous Roy’s in Waikoloa.
But first, we had everyone over for appetizers.





























The staff at Roy’s was amazing. They inserted private birthday menus into all of the covers and brought out that amazing molten lava cake with the birthday message too. We had our own personal waiter as well. It was great having him available at all times. The service was fantastic.

The family was so generous. Grandma gave Kevin 50 big ones and some really sweet sentimental items. Camile and Jan adorned his head with a cool new fedora, and our Norwegian family shared a beautiful book all about Norway with us.

After our fabulous day at A-Bay, we all had dinner and then walked over to the Queen's shops to see the local kids perform a polonisian show.

This is my amazingly strong, beautiful, sister in law. She is one of the most God fearing and Jesus loving women I know and I'm very blessed to have her in my life.
