Romance and a Rendezvous With My Man . Sonoma California

We were blessed to take this amazing trip together.  Here are a few shots of where we stayed.  It's called Auto Camp.   You could rent one of these great bikes and visit nearby wineries or just tool around town and take in the breathtaking views of the redwoods.

Here's a look at the community area.  So much fun.  Every evening the guests returned to camp and brought back wine to share by the fire.  We met so many nice people.

The outside fire pit.

Look at this amazing wall inside the club room.

The Matrix.  We met some great friends here.  Frank and Dianne Wilson

 Our absolute favorite winery.  MacRostie
Check out our view

We drove the back road to the city of Healdsberg and fell in love. First, breakfast at the River Inn.

The Spa Hotel

And oh my.... The Russian River.  So gorgeous

 The golf course was unbelievable.

We also headed down to the coast one day to the famous little town of Bodega Bay where The Hitchcock film, The Birds was filmed.   We even ate lunch at the Tides Restaurant.

This famous shot has been in many commercials and films.

On the way back to Gurneville, we stopped at this adorable little town.

Great trip.  I'd love to go back.

Love Is In The Air

It was really fun getting together with our old bible study group and celebrating the many years of marriage between us.

Traci did a great job of decorating and hanging old scrapbook pages around the room for us to reminisce about...

Back then, Most of these girls were still in the tummy. Just look at them now. Gorgeous!

And these two... well they're getting married in 2017.

Such a blessing. I can't wait. We hope that love touched your heart this Valentine's Day too. xxoo

Christmas 2013

Somehow, I took very few pics this year.  I have no idea how that happened but here are the few I DID take.  We had a visit from Santa this year.  He's obviously been vacationing in a very sunny climate.  He's looking rather tan :)

Idyllwild Twenty Thirteen

Our annual family get together ended up with just the aunt and unka and we 3.  The weather threatened to be ominous but didn't really live up to the threat.  Still, Jim and Jude felt it safer to cancel with no way of knowing for sure.  You never can tell until the storm is actually upon you. Though we were missing the others more than words could say, we were so very thankful to get to spend some quality one on one time with our precious peeps.  I have no photos of our evening but we enjoyed a fabulous meal of Chicken and dumplings (just dumplings for me) and corn bread with salad.  Lemon cake and mini cinnamon buns for dessert but the best, BEST part of the night was spending time with family.
