I'm grateful for the show... Survivor! What????
Well, this season of Survivor has unfortunately come to an end. Our girl Dawn didn’t win the million but I believe she was very close to winning the fan favorite prize of $100,000.00! In the end though, the fans gave it to Ozzy. He would have been my next choice. He really played the game well.
Now, here’s why I’m grateful for the show. I am very blessed to have 3 precious family groups. My husbands fabulous family whom we are lucky enough to see quite often, my mom’s side of the family whom we see at least once a year, and my dad’s side of the family whom we hadn’t (past tense yaaaay) seen for at least 13 years….. until, Dawn finally realized her longtime dream of getting on to a crazy little show called Survivor.
Her trip to LA for a finale was just the excuse we needed to reconnect with our long lost loved ones. Well in all fairness, we’ve been communicating through email, facebook, blogs and whatnot for the past three or four years but this was the first time we’d actually managed to get together in all of those years.
Our fist visit was at Gary and Joanne’s to watch the last episode with Dawn and Jonah and the rest of the Nelson gang. It was awesome to spend time with everyone.

Our next visit was with the whole Meehan gang, Nelsons and good friends Pam, Sharon and Alex.

This was our second trip to Lynn and Doug's adorable cabin. she had it all decked out for Christmas. The weather was PERRRRR-FECT!
