MACY UPDATE

It's been a while since I posted any pics of our newest (not for long) member of the family. Little miss bubbles was so much fun to watch. We got to have her for the whole day a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed every moment. She's such a good baby. Gavin is the best big brother/cousin ever. He's had lots of experience with babies over the past couple of years and felt right at home holding his sweet little cousin . In fact, he didn't want to let her go. Maybe this is the reason that God only gave us one. His "baby" time is very special to him.

My handsome husband is 49 years old today.
This post is unacceptably short because we're on our way out of town for some birthday fun but I had to acknowledge the most important person in my life. I love you Kevin. May we celebrate many more birthdays together.

A MOMENT IN TIME

Last week my gorgeous sister in law Kristie came out for a little photo shoot of the belly, marking this beautiful place in her life. We had such an amazing day at the arboretum shooting my soon to be nephew from as many angles as possible. These are just a few shots of the little nudger who's arrival is "expected" within the next 5-6 weeks.

Small Town 4th of July.



We love our community so much. We have such great friends and fun town gatherings that it sometimes seems strange when we realize that we’re in such a huge county just minutes from freeways and tall buildings.

We usually spend the 4th with the same group of great friends because it also happens to be our buddy Jason’s birthday. The kids are insanely in love with summer and always enjoy playing together. They are just like family to us and the kids have never known life without each other. The celebration started with some fun on a water slide and a bbq feast. Then we sang to Jason and he opened his gifts. Finally we went to our not so small town gathering to watch the fireworks. The adults enjoyed some nice conversation while the kids passed the time tossing a ball before all of the festivities began.

Due to some budget cuts, the show was shorter this year but still spectacular.
